Well it turns out that one of my union rep's wife has cystic fibrosis. So they created a charity to collect money for a cure. They've teamed up with restaurants promising to bring in "X" amount of customers during a designated time frame and a % of the sales goes to the charity. They have also been lucky enough to get local companies/merchants to donate goods or services for silent auction. I was honored when he asked if I would be willing to donate a goodie basket.
Well I hope they get a lil something for it.

Well my date bailed litteraly at the last second, my business cards that were promised to be ready by 3:30 yesterday weren't. But I delivered the gift basket anyway, hope they got something for it. I drank a few beers and got some carryout, figured I still helped the cause. =P
