Follow Up from Gift!

Okay it has been over two months and the gift keeps giving. I now need to watch my blood pressure, but in reverse of the way most others do. Instead of keeping it down, I must keep mine up! Monday the 21st mine dipped to 91/61, caused by dehydration. Put back in the hospital for a day. My leg started twitching, couldn't stand when it would start. Thought I was channeling Elvis through my left leg. Better now, need to keep my top # above 120, so as to keep blood flow going to brain. YAY! Guess this means have one. Just read a friend's blog and all I can say is I am sorry! Sounds like he turned out to be a coward. I wish you the best! But if things keep going the same way for you, you will end up able to leap tall buildings, lift trains and run faster than a speeding bullet. Since your experiences keep making you stronger. =P Found my first cell phone, found a pic of you..... It said "Just because of you", glad I could bring a real smile to someone's face, even if just for a short moment. =)

Gift from Life

Okay, "gift from life'....., somewhat a bit of sarcasm. On March 31st I celebrated my 45th birthday, YAY ME! On April 1st, yes April fool's day, I was given a "gift", a wake up call more like it. =( I had a minor stroke!. I was finishing up my shower around 8 p.m., felt tingling and weakness in my right arm. It was followed by tingling/ numbness on the right side of my face. Not knowing what was happening, all I could do was laugh. Until I started slurring my speech. =( Joke over, getting serious! Have a few fb friends that are nurses and got one to respond. Thank you Scott Tacket! Now have new primary Doctor, have been set up with a tri-fecta of specialist, cardiologist, neurologist, and endocrinologist. Have been put on medical leave till end of month by which point all 4 of my Doctors must clear me to return to work. Not accustomed to so much time off, not sure what to do with myself.
